Google's strength is the ability to share and collaborate with others. With this convenience, we must take care not to overshare Personally Identifiable Information (PII). Before you share a resource, think about who has what kind of access and what can they do with it?
Designate up to two 2019-20 Digital Learning Facilitator teacher leaders today at bit.ly/dleaf2019 to be your direct connection to the Dept. of Technology!

The Digital District Steering Committee and Work Group reviewed new project requests for the upcoming school year. Those projects scoring the highest were submitted to SMART for funding approval. Each year we transition some projects into operational practice and consider new projects for our portfolio. If you are considering a tech-enabled project, please reach out to Sandy Maynard at MaynardS@sfusd.edu in the Project Management Office.

Welcome to The DoT Comm!
One of our department goals is to redefine the classroom experience and to strengthen our connections to district priorities to help us align and prioritize our work for the 2019-2020 school year. We are also learning about continuous improvement and strategies to measure both implementation and impact of our work as we continue transforming into a digital district.
We are excited to share the amazing work and bright spots that are happening to transform SFUSD into a digital district. The DoT is honored to partner with you on this journey!
We want this newsletter to be helpful to you! Please share your feedback and ideas on information to include.
